Free monthly Dao-yin class online! Every 2nd Tuesday from 7-8 PM PST on Instagram Live. This class is a meditation, relaxation and self-healing practice taught to me by Jim Cleaver, LAc from the Japanese Tradition. No experience is necessary, but you are encouraged to watch this introductory video.

I am continuing to require masks and temperature checks at appointments beyond April 3rd. Please text me from your car or the main lobby at 971-319-1046 when you arrive to let me know you are here. I will text you when I am ready for you to come up. This allows time for the previous patient to leave and for the room to be cleaned for your visit.

Acupuncture for the entire family.

Located on the corner of SW Hall and 10/Farmington in the Hall Street Station Building with ample, free, off-street parking. My office is at the end of the hall on the second floor - with elevator accessibility (be warned the elevator makes a terrible noise but is perfectly safe!)  (4530 SW Hall Blvd. - click to see a map)

Chinese medicine for adults, elderly and children from a social justice framework. I acknowledge that structural inequality can be a barrier to wellness and not everything can be solved with individual effort. I take a community approach to care and believe in helping you to increase your resilience. I work to help individuals of all backgrounds, ages, sizes and abilities to achieve better health and a sense of ease in life. Acupuncture is commonly used for stress-relief, pain-relief, and to assist with a variety of common and uncommon health concerns. It is a time-tested, low risk approach to prevention and healing. I also practice specifically from a HAES (Health at Every Size), weight inclusive approach. I am also member of the Association for Size Diversity and Health and staff with the Worsley Institute.

New appointments are $120 and returning appointments $90. I offer a sliding scale and equity pricing for marginalized folx. I also accept HSA cards and am able to generate super bills that can be submitted by you to your insurance towards out-of-pocket expenses. I do not direct bill insurance.

What to Expect

If you are new to acupuncture, you can expect to be asked a lot of questions about your health, your body, and your daily routine. I will NOT weigh you. We will spend about 45 minutes discussing your current and past health status. This allows me to better determine a treatment plan for you that addresses your individual needs. After this, I will take some basic health measurements such as blood pressure and heart rate. I will check your pulse, feeling both of your wrists. At this point, I will begin treatment which usually includes moxa and needling. (See the FAQ section under the Resources tab for more information and the Before/After Your Treatment pages too).

My office building is wheelchair accessible. The door to my office is not. Please let me know if you need assistance around this. My office building does not have gender neutral bathrooms, please let me know if I can support you in this until I find a location that does have this. Our office has one comfy, armless chair in our waiting area.

If you have had acupuncture before, my treatment style may be different than you are used to. Rather than resting alone with the needles for 20 minutes after I've inserted them, I may burn moxa on the point and quickly needle the point without leaving the needle to rest. I may be actively treating you the entire treatment time.
